thanks for letting me know about ur journal, i've enjoyed reading n will be back to read more.
I got Xena well and good today. I spent a lovely part of the day all on my own roaming and sleeping in the rest of the house without having anyone following my every move or stealing my food... until Meowmie got home. When Meowmie got home and I greeted her as usual at the door, we had our cuddles then she started calling for Xena. That's when she found her locked in the bedroom. Xena was very indignant, to say the least, at being kept in there I have to say!
Now, did the wind blow the door shut or did I lock her in there on purpose? I'm never going to tell
Meowmie took Xena to the vet yesterday evening so while they were out I took the opportunity to eat my dinner all by myself without Miss Piggy trying to push in and eat it all instead. I think Meowmie should take her to the vet every evening!
The vet said that Xena was a little skinny but generally in good health. Regarding her prolapsed anus, Meowmie has to give Xena a tiny bit of Metamucil in her dinner each day to try and stop her from straining whenever she uses the litterbox. Now all she has to do is make sure that Xena and I don't get our food mixed up! I surely don't need it!
While she was there, she booked Xena in for her OPERATION. It's May 18th (when Xena's due for her next vaccination). I have to feel a little sorry for her - I know what having the OPERATION is like and it's not fun. Still, it did stop me yeowling and keeping the neighbours awake all night. I might try and be a little kinder to her right after the op cos she won't be feeling too good. Until then...
