Hi, I'm Leia and I'm a cute calico kitty. I was rescued from the streets and now have a great home. This is my diary about how I help Meowmie and basically, bring joy to her life. Please enjoy your stay here and don't forget to feed the cat and leave me some treats!

LeeAnn: They will be grooming each other before you know it, and sleeping curled together. The food, well, put extra down, and Liea will get plenty. Right now, there is the fear of "nomore" in xena, but that will pass as she sees that it is going to be there. They are cute.

Betty Sue: Hi there, It's been a while since checked in on my favorite online feline friend. Congrats on your new friend . I am sure you 2 will get along great. We have a new kitty his name is Elvis. He was abandoned at my farm along with a little terrier dog we named Scrappy . I can't believe someone would leave them like that. The 2 are a pair let me tell you LOL. They have a home now.. a forever home. I concider them a blessing . Take care .

Petey: Oh Leia, in time you will like a housemate. You can make double the trouble and fill up the litter box ever so fast! If you chase each other fast enough, the rugs will slip all over. Petey: Hi my love, I have missed you sooo much, but have kept myself busy this summer as Peaches and I can go outside by ourselves as long as we stay nearby. The neighbor dog has chased both of us up the trees all summer long. So, when the dog chased Peaches up high last night, I was mad & decided to chase the dog home! Xena - Day 3

Cat Fact: A cat's brain is more similar to a man's brain than that of a dog.

Well, today we had plenty of kitty standoffs (as Meowmie likes to call them) but I think I'm slowly getting through to Xena that I am top kitty. It did take me a while to work out that I was supposed to be the one who stood tall while Xena crouched down during these standoffs and not the other way around but I think I have it figured out now. I've let Xena know that, for now, I won't tolerate her getting any closer than about a metre before I start growling at her.

Meowmie was going to feed us both in the same room tonight but when she put our dishes down, Xena kept wanting my food and, of course, I wasn't having any of that. Meowmie calls Xena a little piggy cos she eats everything put in front of her whereas I am more ladylike and eat a little bit at a time. Meowmie says she's gonna have to figure out a way where I can still have my food when I want it but so that Xena doesn't wolf down all my food as well as hers.

For now, I'll put up with her being here and as long as she keeps that metre between us, we'll be fine. If not, I'll just have to stand tall again and growl at her some more to remind her where her place in this household is. Now that Xena is allowed to wander free all the time, I wonder if she'll try and sleep in the big bed tonight with Meowmie and me. I have a feeling Meowmie might not be getting much sleep tonight!
