Hi, I'm Leia and I'm a cute calico kitty. I was rescued from the streets and now have a great home. This is my diary about how I help Meowmie and basically, bring joy to her life. Please enjoy your stay here and don't forget to feed the cat and leave me some treats!

LeeAnn: They will be grooming each other before you know it, and sleeping curled together. The food, well, put extra down, and Liea will get plenty. Right now, there is the fear of "nomore" in xena, but that will pass as she sees that it is going to be there. They are cute.

Betty Sue: Hi there, It's been a while since checked in on my favorite online feline friend. Congrats on your new friend . I am sure you 2 will get along great. We have a new kitty his name is Elvis. He was abandoned at my farm along with a little terrier dog we named Scrappy . I can't believe someone would leave them like that. The 2 are a pair let me tell you LOL. They have a home now.. a forever home. I concider them a blessing . Take care .

Petey: Oh Leia, in time you will like a housemate. You can make double the trouble and fill up the litter box ever so fast! If you chase each other fast enough, the rugs will slip all over. Gravity DOES work!

Meowmie wasn't giving me much attention the other night so I thought I'd test gravity out again by pushing all her jewellery on to the floor again. Yep, it still does work

My big news is that we are going to get an intruder! Meowmie told me two days ago that another kitty is going to join our household! I wasn't too happy at this news and showed her so by turning my back on her and walking off. I have thought about it over the past day or so and have realised that it might be nice having someone else around while Meowmie is at work - as long as it knows who is boss!

Meowmie told me all about the new kitty tonight although she hasn't seen it yet. It's about 9 or 10 months old and is black and white. Apparently, it's current humans don't want it anymore so it will be very sad when it comes here but I'll have to cheer it up and let it know it now has a good and permanent home.

Meowmie told me that she and another kitty about the same age both had 5 kitties each a few weeks ago and the humans want to get rid of the mums and most of the kitties and just keep one kitty cos 'kitties are cuter'. Humans make me so mad sometimes When will they learn that we kitties AREN'T disposable! We have feelings too and it upsets us when we move from one home to another and have to get to learn to trust new humans again!

She told me I will have responsibilities now. I have to teach it to use the scratching posts and not the furniture and I have to share my kitty tree, litterbox and our bed (not so sure about that one!).

Meowmie has promised me that she won't love me any less and that I'll get just as many cuddles as before. I just have to understand that the new kitty will get cuddles too.

Anyway, this new kitty should be arriving on the day before Good Friday. Meowmie is planning it this way so that I and the new kitty can get used to each other over the 4 days she will have off work during this time. I'll try and be nice to it but it won't be easy after being the only kitty for such a long time. Then again, it might be nice to have companionship when Meowmie isn't here.

Pookee, my cat (Leia may remember her and her photo), and I are happy to reconnect with you and Leia. Good luck to both of you with the new kitty. Leia seems to be doing well and we hope you, Shaz, are also. Our best, Alice and Pookee (another rescued cat -- which I have to remind her of from time to time.):P

Our kinny says Hi leia and good luck with your new friend - i am sure you will have lots of fun and drive poor meowmie mad - but you must realise what a kind lady she is to look after this new kittie too - Humans CAN be cruel - my old meowmie got old and forgetful and i was all skinny, then my new meowmie Ann started feeding me and now i live with her but i still pop home now and again to check on the old lady! Bigs purrs to you xxx
